In this course you will learn:

  • How to write a good program narrative that addresses the priority needs of the Request for Proposal, how to use In-Kind Matching and Cash Matching in your grant budget
  • How to work with the regional council of government and how to use the Strategic Plan for your state, write a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with other stakeholders for support, write a Resolution and how to get approval from your governing board of directors or county/city elected officials
  • How to manage multiple grants and grant compliance
  • How to make budget adjustments to properly expend funding, even after your grant has been award
